Ahoy, I'm Sharon!

I'm the designer and maker behind Pretty Paper Pirates. I create colourful handmade cards, gifts and keepsakes for you and those you treasure. My designs draw on childhood nostalgia, a fondness for retro design & pop culture, humour with a "pirate smile" and above all, the pursuit of spreading a little joy and happiness wherever I can.

I'm still a little old-school when it comes to shopping too. I love buying from small, independent businesses where I can connect with a real person-someone who wants to understand what I'm looking for, genuinely cares about what they create and takes the time to build relationships with their customers.

There's something wonderful about discovering a business that still pays attention to the little things. Those are the qualities I value as a customer, and they're exactly what I try to offer my own customers at Pretty Paper Pirates. I Make Keepsakes, Not Throwaways

I believe thoughtful cards and gifts deserve to be kept, displayed or reused - not simply thrown away once the occasion has passed. Wherever possible, I create products that continue to bring joy long after they have been received.

My Snoopy cards are adored by people of all ages and many of my customers even frame their favourite designs to create their own little gallery. Not just because they look fantastic, but also because each individual framed card holds a personal message inside, written by someone just for them. Their little gallery becomes a tiny time capsule: part artwork, part keepsake and truly a gift that keeps on giving.

Pretty Paper Pirates is a small, independent business run entirely by me from my little craft studio at home in Glasgow. I design, make, pack and send all orders myself. Everything is handmade with the same care, thought and attention that I would pay when creating a card or gift for one of my own friends or family.
